We’re glad you found us!

Fiber Guild of the Blue Ridge is a blending of many interests related to the field of fibers just as our finished pieces represent a blend of many fibers and techniques. We welcome anyone to attend our monthly Common Threads meetings, study groups, and meetups that we partner with Loudoun County Public Library to lead, whether you are a beginner or advanced or just interested in sharing ideas and information. We also participate in many fairs and festivals and occasionally offer workshops to the public, be sure to check our calendar for the latest events!
- In April 2026 you can find us at our monthly study groups and our April all-guild meeting.
- Sign up to learn to weave with us at Graffitti & Silk in Purcellville.
- April 25 will be a busy day; you can find us at the Mini Renaissance Festival at the Sterling Library and at the Purcellville Music and Arts Festival.
- Also on April 25, one of our own members, Susan Chumley, will be giving a talk at the Waterford Foundation titled “Knitting in the Gaps: Women Showing Up For The Fight” about women knitting during the Civil War.
- Common Threads on April 27 is all about spinning yarn.
If you’d like to get more involved with the guild, perhaps by participating in public demonstration of fiber arts and/or attending monthly Guild-only programs and workshops, we would love to have you join us! It’s easy: just come to a meeting! To become a member and take full advantage of our programs, fill out our membership form; our membership year runs from June 1 to May 31 and you can join any time.
