Membership: Join Us!

We’re a welcoming group of fiber folk in Purcellville, VA who have a range of different skill levels. To become a member, please fill out our online membership form and pay the $30 dues.

If you pay via PayPal (the link is at the end of the form) there is a $1.12 service fee which will be added to your dues.

If you pay by check, please include the name and email address that you signed up with in the Memo on the check itself and mail your check to us or bring it with you to one of our meetings.

To renew your membership, please fill out the form again to make sure we’ve go the most up-to-date information. Our membership year runs from June 1 to May 31 and dues must be paid by 30 June each year.

  • Family Arts Night – Hands-on demonstrations /information only
  • Shenandoah Valley Fiber Festival – Hands-on demonstrations/information only
  • Bluemont Fair – Hands-on demonstrations/information and Sales

Monthly Outreach Opportunities include:

  • Graffiti & Silk Community Loom
    • Maintain computerized student sign-up methodology
    • Maintain warp and weft materials, keeping loom warped and ready
    • Teaching – including information and hands-on student weaving
  • Common Threads – help visitors with fiber arts questions or give presentations
  • Ad hoc demonstrations or displays of work throughout the year as opportunities present themselves
